Inthisarticle,theauthorcarriedoutatheoreticalstudyontheapplicationtechniquesofanew CombinedPassive SolarSystem (hereinafterreferredtoastheCPSS)ofdirectgainandtrombewallstogetquickmorningheating andtopreventafternoonoverheatingforofficebuilding.Thenumericalmodelproposedinthisstudycanbeused fortheperformanceanalysisoftheCPSSinthewinterandsummer.HeatingandCoolingloadsareanalysedfor buildingenergyconsumptionreductionusingthisnumericalmodel. TheresultsindicatethatCPSSinthewinterandsummermodescouldprovideprofitableconditionsforimprovement ofindoorthermalcomfortcontrolandenergysaving.consequently,theapplicationofCPSSwillnotleadtosignificant reductionsintheauxiliaryairconditioningdemandbutalsorealizetheenvironmentallyfriendlybuilding.
Abstract

TheresultsindicatethatCPSSinthewinterandsummermodescouldprovideprofitableconditionsforimprovement ofindoorthermalcomfortcontrolandenergysaving.consequently,theapplicationofCPSSwillnotleadtosignificant reductionsintheauxiliaryairconditioningdemandbutalsorealizetheenvironmentallyfriendlybuilding.
