ThisstudyproposesaPassiveSolarChamberSystem (PSCS)asapassivemethodforreductionofbuilding energyconsumption.Throughnumericalanalysis,thestudyquantitativelyanalyzessystem performanceandaims toprovidefoundationaldataforsystem design.Forthispurpose,thestudyconfiguresdifferentsystem operation modesseasonallyandalsocomputesthermalandventilationperformanceofthesystem inaccordancewithdesign factors(solarradiation,airchannelheightanddistance).System andventilationefficiencyincreasesalongwith increaseinsolarradiationandairchanneldistance;however,astheairchannelheightincreases,theefficiencies showedatendencytodecrease.UponinstallationofPSCS,anaverageof98.23W/m2ofheatfluxwasintroduced inthedaytimeforthemonthofJanuaryincomparisontowallswithnoPSCSinstalled.ForthemonthofAugust,naturalventilationof56.68m3/hwasshowntobesuppliedtotheroom
