Abstract
This study aims to explore the relationship between the kaleidoscope career attitudes of science and technology personnel and their mindsets. Based on data collected from 340 trainees of the KIRD, an empirical study was conducted using R and JAMOVI programs for descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and latent profile analysis(LPA). The latent profile analysis, conducted on the sub-factors of kaleidoscope career attitudes - authenticity, balance, and challenge - categorized the subjects into four groups: 'Confused Career Attitude', 'Work-Life Balance Seeker', 'Authentic Challenger', and 'Balanced Career Committer'. The ANOVA results, with the growth mindset as a dependent variable, indicated significant differences between these groups. The average growth mindset was found in the order of 'Balanced Career Committer', 'Authentic Challenger', 'Work-Life Balance Seeker', and 'Confused Career Attitude'. Analysis of the fixed mindset as a dependent variable revealed a similar trend. The study concludes that groups with less interest in their careers or a strong tendency to seek work-life balance are relatively lacking in growth mindset, while those prioritizing authenticity and challenge over balance have a lower fixed mindset. The implications of these findings are discussed in the study.
