국·공립미술관의 플랫폼으로서의 역할 - 어린이미술관 교육프로그램 연구 -

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to consider the Children's Museum as a core platform for public institutions, especially among national and public art museums, and to develop an educational program for the Children's Museum through research on the works of participating artists with educational potential suitable for this. With this research purpose, many cases were collected, focusing on exhibitions consisting of aesthetic experiences, education, play, and experiences among exhibition planning held at national and public children's art museums in Korea in 2019. They were classified through interviews with artists, art museum planners, and visitors, and programs were developed and applied to Gwangju Museum of Art and Gwangju Jeonnam Elementary School. These surveys and classifications are conducted by the Gwangju Museum of Art's “GO! GO! Into the Forest” and the works and experience spaces of participating artists in the strange and mysterious “Art Museum that draws Dreams” were developed, and programs were developed using their works and made into activities. In 2019, Gwangju Museum of Art Children's Museum of Art exhibited artists' art forms, and categorized artists focused on aesthetic experiences and artists focused on play/experience. In addition, the children's art museum program developed by the researcher(experience activity sheet, experience tools, artist's understanding of the art world, and instructional plan) was applied to three elementary schools in Gwangju Jeonnam(2020, 2021) and Gwangju Museum of Art(2019, 2020). Through this, it was confirmed that the educational potential of works, experience spaces, and activity sheets also has infinite potential for use. In the meantime art museums have been in the spotlight as an alternative way to solve the problems of infusion-based school education and as a place for creative experiences activities and so in elementary school, students' interest and participation in programs using the works of participating artists were high, we could know that there was an educational effect.
