Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide information about self-regulation and executive function through reviewing related research articles. Self depletion and effortful control were also explained as related concepts to self-regulation and executive function. Also, as critical factors of key competencies of a human being, self-regulation and executive function can be improved through educational supports. Therefore, in this review study, educational approaches to improve self-regulation and executive function were explained and discussed.
