실행기능 관련 국내 연구의 최근 동향

초록

최근 신경심리학과 특수교육 분야에서 활발하게 연구되고 있는 주제는 실행기능이다. 실행기능은 임상적으로 매우 중요하며 장애아들의 자기조절과 학습능력에 중요한 역할을 수행하는 상위인지 기능이다. 선행연구와 관련 문헌들을 통해 실행기능의 개념과 이론적 근거들을 신경심리학적 측면에서 간략히 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 목적은 최근 국내에서 실행기능에 관해 발표된 연구 논문들을 살펴봄으로써 연구동향을 파악하는 것이다. 대부분의 연구들이 자폐아, ADHD, 정신분열증 환자 집단과 정상아 집단과의 실행기능의 비교 분석에 국한되어 있었고, 실험 중재를 통한 실행기능의 개선을 위한 논문은 드물었다. 향후 효과적인 실험 중재를 통한 실행기능의 개선을 위한 연구가 요구된다. 또한 실행기능의 결함과 학습장애아 및 정신지체아의 인지특성과의 관계 및 학습능력과의 관계를 밝히는 연구가 필요하다고 하겠다.

Abstract

Recently, one of study topics studied actively in neuropsychology and special education is executive function. Executive function is clinically very important thing and meta-recognition function that execute an important part at the self control and learning ability of handicapped children. We selected 16 subjects, domestic articles published from the year of 1999 to 2005 including unpublished dissertations which are related to executive function. The variables analyzed were subject, intervention area, research design, independent variables. Current trends of research related to executive function were that literature to improve executive function through experiment is almost rare, while most of studies only compare a group of people with autism, ADHD, or mental retardation with group of normal people, Furthermore, we need to study executive function to be improved through effective experiments. Also, we need to reveal the defect of executive function and the relation between executive function and cognitive characteristics of people with mental retardation or learning disability, and the relation of learning ability.
