비디오를 이용한 문제행동 중재에 관한 고찰: 1990∼2003년의 실험연구를 중심으로

초록

문제행동의 감소와 친사회적 행동의 증가는 정서 및 행동 문제를 지닌 아동의 현재와 미래 환경에서 생활하는데 있어서 매우 중요한 기술이다. 최근 국내외에서 장애아동의 사회적 기술이나 특정 학업 기술의 습득과 행동 문제 중재를 위해 비디오를 이용한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 이런 흐름 속에서 본 연구는 장애아동의 교육을 위해 사용된 비디오 이용 교수 중 장애아동이 보이는 행동 문제를 지원하기 위해 실시된 실험 논문의 효과를 검토하였다. 1990년부터 2003년까지의 국내외 논문 중 정서 및 행동상의 문제를 지닌 아동들의 행동중재를 위해 비디오 이용 교수를 실시한 논문 17편을 (1)연구 대상, (2)아동 배치, (3)설계, (4)사용된 비디오 중재 방법(독립변인), (5)목표행동(종속변인) (6)결과, (7)일반화 및 유지의 7개 항목으로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구 결과 비디오를 이용한 관찰적 교수방법은 대부분의 연구에서 장애아동의 행동문제에 대한 중재에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

Research indicates that video feedback and self-management procedure is an effective means for improving academic skills and behaviors. The purpose of this literature review was to examine the studies in which video feedback procedure was applied to decrease the inappropriate social behavior and to increase the appropriate social behavior. Seventeen studies since 1990 up to 2003 met the criteria for inclusion in this review. The 17 studies using observational video intervention were examined across following seven variables: (a) participants, (b) settings, (c) reseach design, (d) independent variables, (e) dependent variables (f) reported result, and (g) generalization/ maintenance. The result of this review indicates that video feedback procedures have been shown to be effective in supporting the behavior of students with disabilities.
