행동치료의 역사적 고찰과 국·내외 관련 자격 현황 분석에 따른 전망과 과제

본 연구자들은 2008년 “장애인들에 대한 특수교육법 시행령”의 특수교육지원 서비스에서 ”행동치료사 “ 지원 가능성과 관련하여 연구의 목적을 크게 두 기지로 하였다. 먼저, 행동치료 관련 서비스의 현실적 적용을 강조한 Skinner 중심의 문헌적 고찰을 하였고 , 다음으로 행동 치료 서비스와 관련된 전 세계적 동향과 더불어 전문 자격증 발급 현황을 조사 분석하여 이에 따른 전망과 과제를 제안 하고자 하였다. 연구자들의 주요 연구 결과는 다음의 다섯 가지로 요약 되었다. 즉, 1) 전 세계적으로 행동치료사는 국제행동분석 학회(ABAI)와 연관되어 있으며, 자격검증 내용에 있어서는 응용행동분석이 주를 이루고 있다. 2) 현재의 응용 행동분석은 Skinner가 주장한 바대로 현실에 적합하고 현장에 적용 가능한내용으로 동물행동연구의 “행동수정” 의 시대를 극복 하였다. 3) 행동치료사 관련 대표적인 자격증 발행 기관은 BACB이다. 4) 한국의 경우, 사)한국정서 행동장애아 교육학회(KSEBD)가 Korean ABA로 2003년 ABAI에 등록 되어 현재 행동치료사 배출을 담당하고 있다. 5) 한국은 대구대학교 대학원 정서행동장애아 교육 전공 교육과정을 국제 행동분석 학회 (ABAI)에 2003년 등록하였다. 결론적으로 , 연구자들은 국외와 마찬가지로 국내에서도 모든 특수교육 대상자들에게 행동 치료 적 서비스는 반드시 제공 되어야 한다는 점과 대 사회적 서비스 차원에서 영아에게 “장애” 명칭을 주는 “장애영아”와 같은 “제한적 용어” 사용은 폐기 될 것을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This research reviewed the world-wide programs in related to the Certifications in behavior analyst and behavior therapist. And also it reviewed the major traditional history of the major domains of behaviorism. The results are the followings. 1. In relation to the certified behavior analysts and behavior therapists around the world there are two main themes. The first concerns diversity. The second concerns the balance of among the domains of behavior analytic domains. 2. Skinner noted the importance of applying behavior analysis in relation to the cultural diversity. 3. At issue for certified behavior analyst and/or behavior therapist, for example in America, Behavior Analysis Certification Board(BACB) is the main organization for the field of developmental disabilities and autism. 4. In Korea, the Korean Association for Behavior Analysis was officially founded in April of 2003 as affiliated chapter of association for Behavior Analysis International. The Korean ABA is based on the achievement of the Korean Society for Emotional & Behavioral Disorder(KSEBD). 5. The graduate program for the education children with emotional and behavior disorders in Daegu University maintains a partnership with the Applied Behavior Analysis International(ABAI) to provide an appropriate behavior management services for children with disabilities. The researchers concluded that applied behavior analysis is not equivalent to service delivery. To allow either research or service delivery to promote the effectiveness of behavioral intervention the practices using such a word "handicapped infants" is disregarded.
