행동치료사의 역할과 수행능력에 대한 인식

본 연구에서는 행동치료 전문가 양성에 필요한 기초 자료를 도출하기 위해 행동치료사 자격연수를 이수하고 있는 250명을 대상으로 행동치료사에게 요구되는 역할과 수행능력을 조사하였고 그 결과와 논의를 토대로 다음과 같이 제언한다. 첫째, 행동치료사는 특수교사나 보육교사 등 교사로서의 역할이 가장 크게 요구됨으로 치료사로서의 전문성뿐만 아니라 교육전문가, 지원전문가로서 필요한 수행능력을 배양해야 한다. 둘째, 행동치료사의 직무 수행정도와 중요도는 매우 밀접한 관련이 있음으로 수행정도와 중요도가 높은 직무들에 대한 집중적인 교육이 필요하다. 셋째, 근무기관이나 교육 및 치료 경력에 따라 행동치료사의 역할이나 수행능력에 큰 차이가 나타나지 않았지만 전문성에 대한 사회적 요구에 앞서 전문적 수행능력 배양뿐만 아니라 전문성을 유지, 계발할 수 있는 다양한 기회가 제공되어야 한다. 나아가 행동적 규범 안에서 전문적 수행능력을 실천하는 치료사가 양성될 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The present study investigated the role and competency which are requested of a Behavior therapist targeted for 250 people who take behavior therapist qualification training to derive basic material necessary for the behavior therapist training program and proposes the result and the discussion in foundation as follows. Firstly, it is necessary to cultivate competency as not only the specialty as therapist but also an education specialist and a support specialist by the role's as the teacher such as special education teacher and child care teacher being most greatly demanded in the behavior therapist. Secondly, as the performance degree and an importance of job tasks are to have the very close relation, intensive education will be required to high performance degree and an importance. Thirdly, though a great difference did not appear to behavior therapist‘s role and competency by the organization, the education, and the therapist career, the various chances should be provided that professional competency as well as the specialty can be maintained, and be enlightened before the social request to the specialty. In addition, it has to be trained by the behavior therapists who implement professional competency in the behavioral ethical criteria.
