부모 참여 여부가 경도발달장애 청소년의 자기결정력과 문제해결력에 미치는 효과

초록

본 연구는 경도 발달장애 청소년의 자기결정 프로그램에 부모를 참여시킴으로써 자기결정력과 문제해결력 등에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지를 알아보는 데 그 목적을 두고 5명의 부모와 5명의 장애학생이 함께 참여한 실험집단과 5명의 학생만 참여한 통제집단을 대상으로 자기결정 프로그램을 진행하였다. 그 결과 자기결정력과 문제해결력 모두 부모가 참여한 실험집단이 부모가 참여하지 않은 통제집단보다 유의한 향상을 보였다. 학생 평정 자기결정력 검사 결과, 자기결정역량의 하위요인인 자기결정관련행동과 자기결정 역량인식 두 요인 모두 실험집단이 유의한 향상을 보였으며, 자기결정기회의 하위 요인인 학교 및 가정에서의 자기결정기회에서는 가정에서의 기회영역에서 실험집단이 유의한 향상을 보였다. 반면 부모평정 자기결정력 검사 결과, 자기결정 관련 행동과 가정에서의 자기결정 기회는 두 집단 간의 유의한 차가 없었으나, 학교에서의 자기결정 기회에서는 실험집단에서 유의한 향상을 보였다. 결론적으로 부모 참여 여부가 경도 발달장애 청소년의 자기결정력과 문제해결력에 미치는 효과에서 부모가 참여한 집단이 참여하지 않은 집단보다 유의한 향상을 보였다.

Abstract

The study’s purpose was to get to know how to effect the mild developmental students by their parents participating in the student’s self-determination program. The program progressed with one trial group, consisting of five parents along with their child with the problem, and one control group, consisting of only five students.  As a result, the trial group participating with their parents showed better results with self-determining ability and problem solving ability than the control group, participating without their parents.  When thoroughly examined, according to the students’ evaluation on the test of self-determining ability better results for both the behaviors related to self-determination and the ability to recognize with self-determination. Also, on the self-determination opportunities in schools and homes, which are under cause of self-determination opportunities, the control group showed better results on the self-determination opportunities in homes. On the other hand, according to the parents’ evaluation on the test of self-determining ability, the behavior related to self-determination and the self-determination opportunities in homes showed no visible differences.  However, the self-determination opportunities in schools showed better results. In conclusion, the group involving the parents showed overall better results than the group not involving the parents in the effect of the mild developmental students’ ability of self-determination and problem solving.
