Abstract
This article reviews research on the effectiveness of social intervention when implemented in multiple settings for students with autism spectrum disorder. A total of 41 single subject studies was selected based on the selection of criteria. To verify the effectiveness of the interventions, three different nonoverlap effect size techniques PND, PAND, Phi () were implemented. According to the participant variables; (a) as younger age, (b) as the case of female students than male students, (c) as lack of social skills level, the intervention showed the large effectiveness. According to the experimental design variables; (d) as the condition of multiple baseline across settings, (e) as the condition of home and clinic, (f) as the condition of human based intervention and training based intervention was found to be a high effect size, (g) the study fidelity and generalization were not associated with the effect size, (h) the maintenance has affected to the effect size, and (i) finally, when evidence based quality score higher, the intervention effect size was higher.
