아동상담에서 아동이 지각한 ‘안전감’, 그 상호주관성에 대한 현상학적 연구

본 연구는 아동상담에서 아동이 지각하는 안전, 안전감이 무엇인가를 “있는 그대로” 이해하기 위해 현상학적 접근으로 이루어졌다. 안전에 대한 본질직관을 목적으로, 아동상담의 맥락에서 아동과 상담가의 상호작용을 바탕으로 아동이 지각하는 안전감을 드러내고자 하였다. 그리고 그 결과를 토대로 안전한 환경을 조성하기 위한 상담가의 역할을 구명하는 것이었다. 이를 위해, 아동상담의 장에서 상담가와 아동 간 상호작용을 심층적으로 기술, 분석 하였다. 그리고 아동이 지각하는 안전감을 상호주관성에 입각해 해석하였다. 구체적으로는, 아동은 아동상담의 장에서, ‘욕하기, 애기 짓 하기, 비밀 털어놓기, 남을 시키기’ 등의 공격적, 퇴행적 행위를 통해 자신의 안전감을 표현하였다. 이에 상담가는 믿음을 바탕으로, ‘견뎌주기, 무비판하기, 나-너의 관계로 편이 되기’ 등의 안아주는 환경을 만들었다. 지속적, 반복적 상호작용은 아동에게 안전감을 형성하게 했다. 결국, 아동이 상담에서 지각하는 안전감이란, ‘지금-여기’에서 ‘잘(well)-있는(being)’, ‘안녕(wellbeing)’을 의미했다. 상담가는 아이와의 ‘각기-그때’의 상황에서 아이가 ‘잘(well)-존재(being)’하도록 함께 존재해야 한다.
Abstract
This study is to reveal ‘what is safety, sense of safety’ based on phenomenological perspective. To understand those phenomena ‘as it is’, interaction between child-counselor is searched deeply in the context of child counseling. Sense of safety that child has perceived is very important to effect and change of child’s lives. Many researches couldn’t examine that facts, those are very concrete interaction in the child counseling context. So those should be revealed from the perspective of phenomenology and intersubjective interpretation. In the context of child counseling, child can express aggression and regression behavior like ‘insult, do like younger child, disclose secrets, let counselor put play stuffs in order’. Counselor must create safe environment like ‘hold, un-criticize, stay besides him(her) through I-Thou relationship’. As a result, sense of safety that child has perceived means ‘well-being’ of here-now.
