국내 특수교육분야에서의 자기결정 관련 연구에 대한 고찰

초록

본 연구는 자기결정과 관련된 선행 연구들의 종합적인 고찰을 통해 자기결정 연구의 전체적인 흐름을 파악하고 다양한 장애로의 자기결정 관심의 확장 및 더 활발한 연구개발 촉진을 위해 실행되었다. 이를 위해, 2000년부터 2016년까지 발표된 자기결정 관련 연구 120편을 중심으로 연구주제에 따른 일반적 분석을 발표연도, 학술지, 연구방법, 연구참여자의 측면에서 분석하였으며, 연구주제별 세부분석은 유관요인, 중재, 인식 및 경험, 기타연구를 중심으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 자기결정 연구는 꾸준히 발표되고 있었으나 연구주제와 관련된 대상이 지적장애와 학령기 장애학생에게 편중되어 있다는 점은 연구의 적용범주가 초장애, 전연령으로 확장되어야 할 필요성이 있다는 것을 시사한다. 또한 세부분석 결과, 4개의 주제 중 중재관련 연구가 가장 많은 비중을 차지하였고 인식 및 경험 관련 연구가 부족하였다. 자기결정의 균형 잡힌 학문적 발전과 특수교육요구대상자들의 자기결정 증진을 위해 특정 영역 및 연령대에 제한되지 않는 다양한 학문적 노력이 요구된다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to apprehend the overall flow of the Self-Determination study through the comprehensive review of advanced researches relevant to the Self-Determination and to promote the more active research development and expand the Self-Determination concern to various category of disabilities. For this, general analysis of the study theme was performed in respect of the announcement year, journal, research method, and study participant focusing on 120 studies relevant to the Self-Determination announced from 2000 to 2016, and then the study themes were analyzed in detail focusing on the factor, arbitration, perception & experience of Self-Determination, etc. As a result of study, although the Self -Determination study was being announced steadily, the target of the study theme focus on the intellectual disability, children with and students with disabilities during school-age period. It implies the application category of research related to Seif-Determination needs to be expanded to all ages, all category of disability. Also, as a result of detailed analysis, the arbitration accounted for the biggest portion among 4 themes and the study related to the perception & experience of Self-Determination was insufficient. Various academic efforts not to confine to the certain category of disability and age group are required for the balanced academic development of the Self-Determination and the enhancement of Self-Determination of the special education targets.
