장애 유아 통합을 위한 반편견교육의 동향 및 과제 : 최근 10년간 국내외 연구 고찰

본 연구는 일반유아를 대상으로 한 반편견교육의 동향을 살펴봄으로서 장애 유아와 일반유아의 사회적 통합을 위한 반편견교육의 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 장애 유아에 대한 일반 유아의 인식과 태도에 관한 연구와 장애를 주제로 한 반편견교육에 관한 국내외 연구 35편을 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 1) 연구 방법과 2) 교육 환경으로 구분하여 반편견교육의 내용과 방법을 제시하였다. 반편견교육은 비통합 환경에서의 간접 경험으로 제공되는 경우가 많았고, 본래 목적에 비해 지나치게 협소하고 부분적인 내용으로 진행되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 현장 적용을 위한 시사점을 논의하였으며 향후 필요한 후속 연구를 제언하였다.
Abstract
This papers reviewed 35 articles which focused on anti-bias education for typically-developing young children. Those studies were classified into either figuring out the perception and attitude toward disabilities or investigating effects of the education on the improvement of such perception and attitude. However, most of the intervention has offered a indirect experience under the seperated setting. Majority of anti-bias education do not focused on specific interventions for social interactions between typically-developing children and children with disabilities. The results underlined the importance of having children in needs with their peers together. It must be followed by planning anti-bias education with instructional strategies to enhance social interactions among young children as a regular curriculum.
