출신학교에 따른 청각장애대학생의 쓰기에 나타난 조사 오류에 관한 연구

본 연구는 청각장애대학생 중에서 수반장애가 없는 32명을 대상으로 직접 작성한 문장을 분석하여, 청각장애대학생의 출신학교별 조사사용 오류 특성에 대해 알아보았다. 자료 분석은 출신학교별 차이를 알아보기 위해 SPSS 12를 사용하여 t-test를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 따른 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청각장애대학생의 특수학교 출신과 일반학교 출신 간의 대치, 생략, 첨가 등의 조사 오류별 발생률 순위에서는 차이가 있었지만, 각 유형별 조사 오류 발생률에서는 출신학교 간의 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 또한 특수학교 출신의 경우 조사 오류 발생 순위에서 초ㆍ중ㆍ고 학생들과 유사한 결과를 보였지만, 일반학교 출신의 경우는 다른 결과를 나타냈다. 둘째, 청각장애대학생의 특수학교 출신과 일반학교 출신 간의 주격조사, 목적격조사, 부사격조사 등의 격조사에 대한 오류 발생 비율 순위에서는 차이가 있었지만, 각 격조사 오류 발생률에서는 출신학교 간의 유의미한 차이가 나지 않았다. 또한 격조사의 대치 오류 발생 순위에서는 출신학교 간의 차이가 있었지만, 각 격조사의 대치 오류 발생률에서는 출신학교 간의 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 또한 특수학교 출신의 경우 격조사 오류에서도 초ㆍ중ㆍ고 학생들과 유사한 결과를 보였지만, 일반학교 출신들은 다르게 나타났다. 이를 종합해 볼 때, 청각장애학교의 수화라는 특수한 환경이 청각장애학생의 조사 오류 및 격조사 오류에 일정한 패턴을 형성시키고 있지만, 그것이 구화환경과 비교했을 때 조사사용 및 격조사 사용 실력에서 유의미한 차이를 발생시킬 만큼 지장을 주지는 않다는 것을 의미한다.

Abstract

This study explores the postpositions in sentences that thirty two hearing impaired collage students made out. The sentences are analyzed with T-test using SPSS 12 to find out the difference between regular school graduates and special school graduates. The result of this study is summarized as follows. First, there is a ranking difference between the regular school graduates and special school graduates in their postposition misuse such as replacement, omission, and addition. However, there is no significant difference between the incidence in postposition misuse of regular school graduates and that of special school graduates. In the case of special school graduates, their postposition misuse was similar to the special elementary, middle and high school students’. In the case of regular school graduates, the result was different from the special school graduates’. Second, there is a ranking difference between the regular school graduates and special school graduates in their subjective postposition, objective postposition and adverb postposition misuse. However, there is no significant difference between the incidence in those morphemes misuse of regular school graduates and that of special school graduates. Besides, in the case of replacement in morphemes misuse, there is a ranking difference between the regular school graduates and special school graduates. On the other side, there is no significant difference between the incidence in replacing each morpheme misuse of regular school graduates and that of special school graduates. In the case of special school graduates, their morphemes misuse was similar to the special elementary, middle and high school students’. However, in the case of regular school graduates, the result was different from the special school graduates’. In conclusion, there is a typical pattern in postposition and morphemes misuse of hearing impaired college students using sign language. Compared with a speech education environment, the sign language shows no significant difference in students’postposition and morphemes use ability. It means that the sign language doesn’t interfere with their language acquisition.
