초록

본 연구는 특수교사의 직업탄력성에 대한 인식을 확인함으로써 이들 교사의 직업탄력성을높이기 위한 방안을 검토하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 특수학교 및 일반학교에 재직 중인 특수교사 148명을 대상으로 특수교사 직업탄력성 척도(Special Education Career Resilience Scale, SECRS)를 활용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 데이터를 통계적으로 분석한 결과 얻어진주된 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교사의 직업탄력성은 전반적으로 보통 수준 이상으로 나타났으나, ‘자기인식 지원’ 영역이 ‘주제 수용’ 영역에 비해 유의미하게 낮음이 확인되었으며, 각 하위 영역에서는 평균보다 통계적으로 유의미하게 높거나 낮은 수준의 항목이 확인되었다. 둘째, 특수교사의 배경변인별 직업탄력성 정도를 비교분석한 결과 학교급에 있어서는 주제 수용 영역에서 초등학교 특수교사집단과 고등학교 특수교사집단 간에 차이가 있었고, 학력에 있어서 관계성 영역에서 대학원 재학 이상 학력군과 대학교 졸업 학력군 간에 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 직업탄력성의 모든 하위영역 간에 정적 상관이 인정되었다. 이상의 결과를 선행연구에비추어 특수교사의 직업탄력성 향상을 위한 논의와 제한점 등을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the recognition of special education teachers on the career resilience. To this end, 148 special education teachers who were working at the special or general school were asked to completed to the SECRS questionnaire. The results were as follows. First, the level of recognition of special education teachers on the career resilience was more or less higher than the average. In detail, the level of the ‘theme acceptance’ domain was lowest. As well, there were items of which level were significantly higher or lower than the mean score. Second, there were statistically significant differences according to the sociodemographic variables such as the grade of school and scholarship. Third, there were the positive correlations among all of the domains of career resilience. Based on these results, various discussions and practical suggestions to improve the career resilience of special education teachers were made.
