청각장애 특수학교 국어교육 프로그램 개발 기초연구

본 연구는 청각장애 특수학교에서의 국어를 중심으로 한 효과적인 언어교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 기초연구로서 국어과 교육과정의 운영 실태와 국어과 운영 실태를 분석하여 청각장애 특수학교에서의 효과적인 언어교육을 위한 국어교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초정보를 얻는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전국 18개 학교의 108명의 초등 4, 5, 6학년 담임교사와 중․고등부 국어교사를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 결과에 기초한 주요 정보로 다음의 세 가지를 들 수 있다. 첫째, 청각장애 특수학교의 특성에 적합한 교육과정을 내용 하위별로 세분화하여 제공할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 초등부 교사들에게는 말하기와 듣기를 위한 프로그램의 개발과 교육자료의 공급을 중․고등부 교사들에게는 읽기와 쓰기를 위한 프로그램의 개발과 교육자료의 공급이 요구된다. 셋째, 청각장애 특수교사들을 위한 국어과 전문연수 기회가 시급히 마련되어야 한다. 이러한 결과에 기초해서 볼 때 청각장애 특수학교 언어교육을 위해서는 각급 학교에 전전으로 일의 책임이 맡겨질 것이 아니라 국가 수준에서 단위 학교의 교사들을 주체로 하여 보다 체계적이고 효과적인 프로그램과 교수 자료를 개발 공급해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to get an basic information for the development of korean language education program to teach children with hearing impairment language effectively through analyzing the status of Korean language education curriculum management and korean language education class management. We analyzed the research questionnaire of teachers of the 4th, 5th and 6th grades deaf elementary school and korean language education department in middle and high school in the whole country for 103 teachers of eighteen deaf school. The results of this study are summarized as follows: Firstly, the supply of the subdivided curriculum that suit the reality of the deaf school was needed. Secondly, it was revealed that those teachers hoped that the development and the supply of the listening and speaking materials for the elementary school level and the reading and writing materials for the middle and high school level had to be done by the government of the country. Third, The in-service training program to increase knowledge power of korean language education for special education teachers is quickly held.
