의사소통장애 아동을 위한 표준화된 은유능력발달 검사도구 개발에 관한 예비연구 -연령별 규준과 신뢰도를 중심으로-

본 연구는 학령기 아동의 의사소통능력 중 하나인 은유능력발달 정도를 평가할 수 있는 표준화된 은유능력발달 검사도구를 개발하는데 그 목적이 있었다. 연령집단별 평균과 표준편차에 따른 연령별 규준을 분석하고, 검사방법 및 검사도구의 신뢰도를 확보하여 또래 연령집단 아동과의 발달 정도를 비교하고자 하였다. 검사문항은 선행연구들을 바탕으로 내용분석을 실시하여 개발하였고, 2차례의 예비검사와 문항분석을 거쳐서 최종검사문항을 선정하였다. 연구는 만 7세부터 12세 11개월까지의 일반아동 281명(남자 164명, 여자 117명)을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 자료 수집은 서울경기와 대구경북 지역에서 실시하였다. 검사 실시 후 연령집단별 평균과 표준편차를 기준으로 연령별 정상성에 대한 규준을 제시하였고, 검사의 신뢰도는 검사문항의 내적일관성 신뢰도와 검사-재검사 신뢰도로 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 은유능력은 생활연령과 밀접한 관계가 있으며 각 연령집단 간 상관계수를 산출한 결과 .726 (p<.001)으로 상관성이 높은 것으로 나타나서 이 검사가 실제 연령별로 획득한 원점수에 차등이 있으며, 이를 바탕으로 검사결과를 통한 발달 정도를 산출할 수 있었다. 둘째, 검사문항의 내적일관성 신뢰도와 검사-재검사 신뢰도를 측정한 결과, Cronbach α는 .903, 상관계수는 .930으로 통계적 유의성이 있으며, 신뢰도가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 은유능력발달 검사는 일반아동뿐만 아니라 의사소통에 지체나 장애를 나타낼 가능성이 있는 아동들의 은유능력발달 정도를 평가하고, 치료계획을 세우는데 지침으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to administer the Metaphoric Ability Test and to examine the reliability of the test. The Metaphoric Ability Test was administrated to 281 normal children aged from 7;0 to 12;11, divided into 6 age groups. Internal consistency reliability and test-retest reliability were investigated. The results were as follows. The Metaphoric Ability provided normative data to assess from school age children. There was a significant relationship between the first test and the retest scores in both the metaphoric ability tests. Different age groups demonstrated different total scores with the tread of increased both score by aging. However, there were no different total scores observed by gender. The results showed that the metaphoric ability test was a reliable instrument to assess metaphoric ability from school age children. For this reason, it could be useful in both clinical and educational fields.
