본 연구는 친사회성프로그램이 양육시설아동의 정서행동문제감소에 미치는 효과를 밝히고자 한 것이다. 특히 본 연구에서는 정서행동문제감소의 효과성을 검증하기 위해 이경숙 등(2003)이 개발하여 우리나라에서 표준화한 아동정서행동문제측정도구를 사용하여 하위영역 외현화 행동, 내재화 행동, 기타 행동, 적응기술을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 친사회성프로그램은 양육시설아동의 외현화 행동문제를 감소시켰다. 특히, 공격성 행동이 감소됨에 따라 외현화 행동문제가 감소됨을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 친사회성프로그램은 양육시설아동의 내재화 행동문제를 감소시켰다. 이는 우울과 신체화 행동이 감소됨에 따라 내재화 행동문제가 감소됨을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 친사회성프로그램은 양육시설아동의 기타 행동문제를 감소시켰다. 특히 아동의 주의집중을 향상시킴으로써 기타 행동문제가 감소됨을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 친사회성프로그램은 양육시설아동의 적응기술을 향상시켰다. 이는 친사회성프로그램을 적용함에 따라 정서행동문제가 감소되고, 이에 따라 양육시설아동의 적응기술은 향상되었다.
Abstract
This study intends to identify the effect of a prosocial program on decreasing emotional and/or behavior problems of children in care facilities. In order to carry out the study, 13 children accommodated in a child care center located in J city of Gyeongsangnam were chosen first and later 6 children who needed the prosocial program were selected as the final choices. The results achieved after applying the prosocial program to this study are as follows. First, the prosocial program was effective in decreasing externalizing behavior problems of children in care facilities. Especially, it was very effective to decrease the externalizing behavior by decreasing the aggression. Second, the prosocial program was effective in decreasing internalizing behavior problems of children in care facilities. The internalizing behavior problem seemed to decrase while the depression and somatization disorder problem was decreasing. Third, the prosocial program was effective in decreasing other behavior problems of children in care facilities. Fourth, the prosocial program was effective in increasing social adaptive skills of children in care facilities. Through the results I reached prosocial program was effective in decreasing emotional and/or behavior problems of children in care facilities. The prosocial program used in this study was generally comprised of the content about basic skills in social life, the ability to adapt to child care facilities, the ability to make friendships, the ability to control feelings, handling situations with non-aggressive behaviors and dealing with stress, which contributed to improving social adaptive skills.
