갈라디아서에 나타난 선교적 관점 : 사회학적 접근

초록

갈라디아서는 선교 활동에 대한 신실한 소명을 목적으로 한 다른 서신들과달리 대적자들을 대항하여 자신의 공동체를 보호하기 위한 하나의 논쟁적편지이다. 이러한 관점에서 선교는 공동체의 밖에 있는 자들에게 신앙 공동체에 대한 이해를 돕는 유익한 개념이다. 이는 교회 이면의 세계와 연결되어있다. 갈라디아서는 공동체 또는 그룹의 정체성 등의 다양한 이슈들을 다루고 있기에, 갈라디아서에 대한 선교적 읽기는 갈라디아서 해석을 위한 해석학적 기능을 제공한다. 특히 선교적 읽기는 칭의의 주제를 잘 드러낸다. 오늘날 적절한 선교적 관점에서 가치있는 사상들이 갈라디아서 안에서 발견될수 있다. 그러므로 본 논문은 갈라디아서 안에서 선교적 읽기를 제안한다

Abstract

Galatians is a polemic letter, intent more on safeguarding the community against the opponents – and in the process disposing of them – than a letter intent on calling the faithful to embark on missionary activities. In this regard, missional is a helpful concept as it can be for understanding on the community of believers’ stance towards those outside it, engaging the world within and beyond the church. In Galatians, where issues of identity and community or group are fore-grounded, a missional reading offers an enabling hermeneutic for interpreting the letter, and especially its emphasis on justification. Valuable ideas for thinking about appropriate missional perspectives today can be found in the letter. Therfore this paper proposes the missional reading in Galatians.
