전국민속예술경연대회 분석을 통한 민속놀이의 지역별 특성 연구

국문초록본 연구는 1958년 제1회부터 2000년 제41회까지 ‘전국민속예술경연대회’에서 연행된 종목을 목적별 구분 틀에 근거하여 시도별 민속놀이의 특징을 도출하였다. 연구 결과 우리나라는 농경사회의 보편적 특징이라고 할 수 있는 노동지향 민속놀이와 태평기원 제례지향 민속놀이 그리고 사회비판지향 민속놀이가 지배적으로 나타난다. 동시에 지역별 특수성도 나타나고 있는데 그 원인으로는 자연 지리적 여건을 꼽을 수 있다. 즉 농경지가 넓게 분포하는 지역에서는 勸農, 農, 사회비판을 목적으로 하는 민속놀이가 다른 지역에 비하여 상대적으로 많다. 또한 제례지향 민속놀이의 경우 산이나 해양으로 인하여 고립성이 큰 지역에서는 토속신앙에 의존하는 생활양식이 민속놀이에 반영되어 있다. 아울러 도서지역의 경우에는 풍농기원 민속놀이의 비중이 상당하다.
Abstract
A Study of the Characteristics of Korean Folk Play based on the Analysis of Korea National Folk Arts Contest Min, Hyun-joo(Kyunghee University) This study aimed at presenting the characteristics of Korean folk play through category analysis of folk plays, performed in 'Korea national folk arts contest'. As a results, Korean folk play has been developed by Korean people cultivating the agrarian culture in proper form of play to improve productivity in the intervals of agricultural work in accordance with the agricultural subdivisions of the seasons in the religious ceremony taking a form sacrificial rites to pray for the abundant harvest and peace of agriculture.
