초록
본고는 본격적인 연구라기보다는 ‘민속놀이 데이터베이스’의 다양한 활용 가능성을 제안하는 사례 제시라는 성격이 강하다. 따라서 앞에서 제시된 사례를 참고로 하여 이 방면의 연구를 활성화되도록 하는 것이 본고의 가장 큰 목적이라 할 수 있다.본고를 통해서 우선 줄다리기의 전국적 분포가 확연하게 드러났고, 이 분포가 줄다리기가 수전 농업 지역의 제 여건을 바탕으로 해서 이루어진다는 점이 구체적인 자료를 바탕으로 설명되었다. 본고에서는 씨름의 전국적 분포 및 시기별 분포에 따른 권역 구분도 시도되었다. 그리고 씨름 시기별 권역은 추석권, 백중권, 단오권 등으로 구분되며, 이 권역은 각각 수전 농업 지역, 한수전 농업 지역, 한전 농업 지역의 제 여건을 바탕으로 해서 이루어진다는 점이 구체적인 자료를 바탕으로 설명되었다. 이러한 본고의 논의는 막연한 추정이나 추론이 아닌 구체적인 자료를 바탕으로 이루어진 것이라는 점이 다른 연구와 변별되는 이 연구의 성과라 할 수 있다. 줄다리기와 씨름의 전국적 분포와 그 농업적 기반과의 연맥이 구체적인 자료를 통해 제시된 것이다.
Abstract
This study is case presentation which propose a application of 'folk play data base'. Therefore, the purpose of this study is an activation of this field study, refer to this study. Through this study, a countrywide distribution of tug of war is clearly revealed, and that distribution is related to rice paddy agricultural region the thing which is explained. This study also attempt a countrywide distribution of Ssireum and region division according to season. According to season, region division of Ssireum are Ch'usok region, Paekchung region, Tano region, those region division are related to rice paddy agricultural region, dry-rice paddy agricultural region, dry agricultural region respectively. A product of this study is not vaguely presumption but definite verification. The correlation of a countrywide distribution of folk play(tug of war, Ssireum) with agricultural base is presented, through a concrete data.
