체육학에 있어서 인문학 연구의 자생적 패러다임

Abstract

The new paradigm establishment of human studies in physical education Kim, Dong Kyoo(Yeungnam University) The purpose of this study was to explore the new paradigm of the humanities in Physical Education and to establish the identity of Physical Education study. This paper examined the reasons why the humanities area in PE study needs to set up the new paradigm for the future. One of mission of the humanities is to establish the human identity and to discover the human value. That mission can be applied to Physical Education study at the same time. To enforce the position and existence of the humanities area in Physical Education, the scholars people who involve this area need to keep up good work and to establish new paradigm. In order to perform this mission, several objectives could be execute as follows: 1. The practical humanities should be applied in PE study. 2. The inter-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary studies are needed as prospective direction in PE humanities area. 3. The oriental and Western study are suppose to be intercommunicate and interaction. 4. Improving reading, speaking, writing and translating original texts should be executed as working of PE humanities study. 5. The data base system and Information Technology should be establish as soon as possible. 6. The Sports Science Institutes need to take over and perform the humanities study in PE. In conclusion, in order to perform these objectives, the scholars people who involve this area need to set up and to operate the official organization and federation.
