과학기술은 현대사회구조뿐만 아니라 스포츠에도 많은 변화를 가져오고 있다. 스포츠와 과학기술이 상호적 관계에서 발전하고 있는 시대적 흐름에 따라 스포츠현장에 도입되고 있는 과학기술로 인해 초래될 수 있는 윤리적인 문제에 관한 대안이 필요한 실정이다. 이 연구는 전자판독시스템만을 활용하여 수행된 심판 없는 경기사례를 거론하며, 스포 츠현장에서 윤리적인 기준을 우선시 하는 과학기술의 도입에 기준이 필요하다는 것을 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적의 달성을 위해 스포츠윤리에 대한 문헌을 고찰하고 심판의 정의와 존재적 가치, 전자판독시스템의 실체를 살펴보았다. 심판 없는 경기장은 심판과 판독시스템을 동일하게 판단하여 수행된 결과물로써 인간성이 상실되고 스포 츠가 도구화되어 가치가 훼손되는 윤리적인 문제를 초래할 수 있다. 스포츠는 심판의 존재를 중요시 인정하며 인간의 가치가 실현될 수 있는 기회의 장이 되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 무분별한 과학기술의 도입을 추구하기보다, 인간이 배 제되지 않고 우선시 될 수 있는 기준에 의해 과학기술은 도입되어야 함을 주장하는 바이다. 이를 통해 스포츠현장에 서 발생되는 비윤리적인 문제를 예방하기 위한 이론적 배경을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
Science and technology are transforming sports as well as modern social structures. According to the current trend of sports, science and technology are being developed in mutual relationship to provide an, alternative to the ethical problems found in sports. The purpose of this study is to clarify the ethics of refereeing of games using only an electronic reading system and to suggest that criteria are needed for the introduction of science and technology that prioritize ethical standards in sports. In order to accomplish these research objectives, we reviewed literature on sports ethics and examined the definitions of referee, existential value, and the reality of electronic reading systems. A stadium without an umpire may result in ethical problems in which humanity is lost, the sport is instrumentalized, and its value is undermined as a result of judging judgment and inspection system. Sports should recognize the necessity of umpires and should be a place of opportunity where human values can be realized. Therefore, rather than seeking the introduction of indiscriminate science and technology, we argue that science and technology should be introduced in a manner so human standards are not excluded. This will provide a theoretical background to prevent unethical problems in the sport scene.
