Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the serial multiple mediation effect of career aspirations and career resilience on the relationship between college students' perceived career stagnation and career adaptability. Data were collected from 351 students at S University in Seoul. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and mediation effects were analysed using SPSS 30.0 and Process Macro (model=6, v.4.2). The results of this study were as follows. First, career aspirations and career resilience showed a full serial multiple mediation effect in the relationship between students' perceived career identity and career adaptability. Second, career aspirations showed a significant partial mediation effect in the relationship between career identity and career adaptability. Third, career resilience had a significant full mediation effect on the relationship between career identity and career adaptability. These findings suggest that the development of psychological resources, such as career aspirations and career resilience, is necessary to enhance students' career adaptability.
