한국판 웩슬러 지능검사(K-WAIS)의 단축형 유형에 따른 신뢰도와 타당도 비교

본 연구에서는 한국판 성인용 웩슬러 지능검사의 여러 단축형 검사법 중 매우 유용한 단축형 검사법으로 알려진 WARD7형과 Silverstein 단축형 간의 상관분석과 평균차이를 검증함으로써 단축형 검사의 신뢰도와 타당성을 검증하였다. 심리적 갈등과 문제로 정신과를 찾은 244명의 환자를 대상으로 한국판 웩슬러 지능검사(K-WAIS)를 실시하고, Silverstein의 단축I형(어휘-토막)과 단축II형(어휘, 산수, 토막, 차례), 그리고 WARD7 단축형간의 상관과 차이검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과, WARD7 단축형은 표준화 방식으로 측정한 K-WAIS의 전체 IQ(r=.82), 언어성 IQ(r=.76), 동작성 IQ(r=.76)와 매우 높은 상관을 보여 주었다. Silverstein의 단축I형도 전체 IQ(r=.76)와 언어성 IQ(r=.81)와 매우 상관이 높았고, Silverstein 단축II형도 전체 IQ(r=.79)와 동작성 IQ(r=.66)와 상관이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이중에서 특히 WARD7은 전체 IQ, 언어성 IQ, 동작성 IQ 모두에서 표준화된 방식으로 측정한 IQ와 거의 차이가 없어 가장 유용한 단축형 검사법으로 지지되었다. 그리고 여러 단축형 유형 중에서 전체 IQ와 언어성 IQ는 Silverstein 단축I형으로 추정하는 방식이 가장 예측력이 높았고, 동작성 IQ는 WARD7 단축형이 예언력이 가장 높았다. 이러한 결과는 단축형 검사가 언어적, 신체적 제한이 있는 정상인, 검사시간의 단축이 필요한 상황, 불가피하게 단축형 검사가 필요한 임상집단의 환자에게 매우 유용하게 적용될 수 있는 것으로 시사되었다. 주요어 : 웩슬러지능검사, WARD7 단축형, Silverstein의 단축형
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the reliability and validity according to the types of short-form of the K-WAIS. With K-WAIS, we tested 244 patients who suffer psychological conflicts and problems, and then examined relations with and differences from the Silverstein short-from Ⅰ(vocabulary-block design), short-form Ⅱ(vocabulary, arithmetic, block design, picture arrangement), and WARD7. As a result, WARD7 short-form proved to be highly correlated with K-WAIS such as total IQ(r=.82), language IQ(r=.76), and performance IQ(r=.76). Silverstein short-form Ⅰ also showed high correlations with K-WAIS such as total IQ(r=.79), language IQ(r=.82), performance IQ(r=.64), and Silverstein short-form Ⅱ was also showed high correlations with total IQ(r=.79), language IQ(r=.84), performance IQ(r=.67). Among these short-form tests, WARD7 was particularly high-correlated in language, performance and total IQ, and showed little difference in mean estimation with total IQ, which makes it supported as the most useful short-form indicator.
