본 연구는 중년여성의 우울 감소를 위한 내적가족체계치료 프로그램의 효과를 검증해 보는데 목적을 둔다. 내적가족체계치료 프로그램은 1980년대 Richard Schwartz에 의해 소개된 내적가족체계 모델에 기초하여 개발하였으며, 프로그램의 목적은 중년여성들이 자신의 내적가족체계를 이해하도록 하고, 내적체계부분들이 조화와 균형을 이루도록 함으로써 그들의 우울을 감소시키는 것이다. 프로그램의 효과를 분석하기 위해서 통제집단 실험설계를 활용하였으며, 참여자는 40-60세의 중년여성 31명(실험집단 15명, 통제집단 16명)이었다. 자료처리를 위한 통계방법으로는 집단(실험, 통제) × 검사 실시시기(사전, 사후, 추후) 반복측정 분산분석, 단순주효과 분석, 단순대비검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과 내적가족체계치료 집단상담 프로그램은 중년여성의 우울 감소에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 내적가족체계치료 집단에서의 우울수준은 프로그램 종료 후에 유의하게 감소되었으며, 한 달 뒤의 추후검사에서도 우울 감소에 대한 효과의 지속성이 유지되는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 통제집단에서는 사전, 사후, 추후 검사 간에 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 주요어 : 중년여성, 우울, 내적가족체계, 내적가족체계치료 집단상담 프로그램
Abstract
This study was to verify the effectiveness of the internal family systems therapy group counseling program on decreasing the depression of middle-aged women. The program of internal family systems therapy was developed to be based on the model of internal family system introduced by Richard Schwartz in the middle of 1980s. And also the purpose of this program is to help the middle aged women to understand their own internal family system and to decrease their depression by making internal system parts to be harmonized and balanced. 31 middle-aged women ranged in age from 40 to 60. Two groups were identified as equivalents for the study in the pre-test. The pre-test, the post-test and the follow-up test were implemented in order to verify the effectiveness of the programs. The participants who were absent more than three times in the program were excluded from the post-test and follow-up test. Eventually, the data in 31 persons(15 for the internal family systems therapy, 16 for the control group) were analyze to verify the effectiveness of the program. The data were analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA, simple main effect, post-hoc t-test, means and standard deviations. The findings of the study were as follows: The internal family systems therapy group counseling program had significant effects on decreasing the depression. There was a large decrease of the depression in the intervention group, compared with control group at post treatment and follow-up after 1 month which indicated the continuity of intervention effect. However, in the control group, there were no changes according to the time.
