청소년 내담자의 애착과 상담기대가 작업동맹에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 청소년 내담자의 애착차원(회피, 불안)과 상담기대가 작업동맹에 미치는 영향을 밝히는데 있다. 연구대상은 상담을 받고 있는 13세부터 19세까지의 남여 청소년 내담자 97명이었으며, 애착과 상담기대 질문지는 1회기 전에, 그리고 작업동맹 질문지는 3회기 후에 실시되었다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 회피애착이 높을수록 작업동맹 수준은 낮았다. 둘째, 상담기대가 높을수록 작업동맹은 높았다. 셋째, 회피애착과 상담기대 모두는 작업동맹을 유의하게 예측하였으며, 회피애착보다 상담기대가 작업동맹에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 회피애착이 높을수록 상담기대의 하위요인 중 내담자의 태도와 행동, 그리고 상담자의 특성에 대한 기대가 부정적이었다. 그리고 불안애착이 높을수록 상담자에 대한 태도와 행동에 대한 기대가 높았다. 다섯째, 회피애착과 작업동맹 간의 관계에서 상담기대는 조절자의 역할을 하였다. 즉, 상담기대의 수준에 따라 회피애착이 작업동맹에 미치는 영향력이 달라졌다. 연구결과의 의의와 한계점에 대해 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of adolescent client attachment(anxiety, avoidance) and expectations about counseling(EAC) on working alliance. The research participants were 97 adolescent clients in 13-19 year old. Prior to intake, clients completed the attachment and the EAC and clients completed the working alliance following the 3rd session. Results were as follows. First, the avoidance attachment affected directly on working alliance. The higher avoidance attachment was, the lower working alliance was. Second, the working alliance was affected by the EAC. Third, the working alliance was anticipated by both the avoidance attachment and the EAC. And the working alliance was affected by more EAC than the avoidance attachment. Fourth, the avoidance attachment affected significantly on the EAC. In the concrete, client's attitude and behavior toward counseling and counselor's character were anticipated by avoidance attachment. Also, counselor's attitude and behavior was anticipated by anxiety attachment. Fifth, EAC was the mediator between avoidance attachment and working alliance. The impact of avoidance attachment on working alliance changed in the levels of EAC. Limitations as well as implications of the study were discussed.
