청소년 내담자의 상담자 애착과 작업동맹위기 회복에서 불만족 개입의 매개효과

초록

본 연구의 목적은 상담자에 대한 내담자의 애착이 상담 중 발생하는 불만족 개입과, 내담자의 작업동맹 위기회복에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 확인하고, 그 과정에서 상담자의 불만족 개입이 애착수준과 작업동맹위기 회복간의 매개역할을 하는지 검증하는 것이다. 연구대상은 18세에서 22세의 후기 청소년 내담자 남녀 82명이었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상담자에 대해 안정애착이 높을수록, 작업동맹의 위기를 경험하고 난 후 동맹의 위기회복 수준이 높았으며, 상담과정 중 불만족에 대해 상담자가 좀 더 적극적으로 개입한다고 지각하였다. 반면에, 상담자에 대해 회피와 두려움 애착을 지닌 내담자일수록 작업동맹 위기회복 수준이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 내담자가 느끼는 상담에서의 불만족에 대해 상담자가 개입할수록 위기회복의 수준이 높아지는 것을 보여줬다. 둘째, 상담자의 불만족 개입은 안정애착과 작업동맹 회복과의 관계에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 작업동맹 회복에 있어서 상담자에 대한 내담자의 안정애착의 직접적인 영향보다도 상담자의 불만족 개입이 더 중요함을 의미한다. 이러한 연구결과의 의의와 제한점에 대해 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of client attachment to counselor on working alliance crisis resolution in a sample of adolescents, and to investigate the mediating effects of intervention to client dissatisfaction on the relationship between client attachment to counselor and working alliance crisis resolution. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, the authors collected data from a total of 82 high school students and university students. The findings of the study indicated as follows. First, when a correlation analysis was performed to explore the relationships between client attachment to counselor, intervention to client dissatisfaction and working alliance crisis resolution, the findings showed that secure attachment, intervention to client dissatisfaction were positively related to working alliance crisis resolution. Meanwhile, avoidant/fearful attachment was negatively associated with working alliance crisis resolution. Second, multiple regression analysis and bootstrapping analysis were conducted to test mediating effects of the intervention to client dissatisfaction on the relationship between client attachment and working alliance crisis resolution. And the results revealed that the intervention to client dissatisfaction mediated the relationship between client attachment and working alliance crisis resolution. Implications of the study findings and suggestions for future research are addressed.
