상담의 성과는 무엇이고, 무엇으로 평가하는가?

초록

본 연구는 상담성과와 상담성과 평가에 대한 종합적인 이해를 제공하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구 목적에 따라 국내 연구 중심으로 상담성과 영역, 상담성과 평가 도구 두 영역으로 구분하였다. 먼저, 상담성과는 무엇인가? 두 번째로는 상담성과에 대한 평가는 무엇으로 하는가에 대해 선행연구를 종합하였다. 연구결과를 통해 개인상담 상담성과의 영역과 성과에 대한 측정을 종합적으로 파악할 수 있었다. 더 나아가서 상담성과를 평가하기 위해 다양한 측정도구가 활용되고, 미시적 수준에서 거시적 수준의 측정이 이루어진 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 내담자의 즉시적 반응, 인지적, 정서적 경험 등을 측정하는 것을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 상담학의 배경 학문과 다학제적 접근, 연구의 한계 등을 논의하였다.

Abstract

This article provided a general introduction to counseling outcomes and outcome measurement. In order to achieve the purpose of this article, other published studies were reviewed in two major sections. The first section is; what are the outcomes in counseling? The second section is; what are the measuring instruments of counseling outcome? Through the general overview, this paper focused on individual counseling outcome domains and measurement perspectives in counseling outcome. Moreover, many measuring instruments were used in the evaluation outcomes, from micro level to macro level. In addition, the results showed the measurements assess client’s immediate responses, cognition, emotion experiences. Lastly, the background theory of counseling, the multi-disciplinary approach and limitation were discussed.
