본 연구의 목적은 기업의 평가역량구축에 대한 진단 및 분석의 차원에서 우리나라 대기업의 조직학습과 평가를 위한 준비태세를 분석하는 것이다. 진단도구는 Preskill과 Toress(1999)의 조직학습과 평가를 위한 준비태세(The Readiness for Organizational Learning and Evaluation Instrument)를 활용하였다. 총 77개 문항에 대한 요인분석 결과, 총 53문항, 6개 요인(참여적 조직문화, 팀워크, 평가, 리스크 감수, 정보의 교류, 개방적·접근적 근무환경)을 추출하여 분석하였다. 우리나라 대기업의 조직학습과 평가를 위한 준비태세 진단결과, 준비태세 요인에 따라 비교적 높은 수준을 나타내거나 보통 수준을 나타내었다. 준비태세 요인 중에서 팀워크, 정보의 교류, 참여적 조직문화는 비교적 높은 수준이었고, 개방적·접근적 근무환경, 리스크 감수, 평가는 보통 수준이었다. 대기업의 조직학습과 평가를 위한 준비태세는 기업집단별, 직무별로 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 근무연한별로는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다.
Abstract
The purposes of the study were to analyze the readiness for organizational learning and evaluation of Korean corporations, and suggest ways to improve organizational learning and evaluation. The results of the study found that the readiness for organizational learning and evaluation of Korean corporations is at relatively high level. Among variables of the readiness, team work, communication of information and participatory organization culture are at relatively high level, whereas risk taking and evaluation are at relatively low level. There are statistically significant difference among groups according to working years. Variables of the readiness are positively correlated at the .01 level of significance. In order to improve the readiness for organizational learning and evaluation of Korean corporations, organizational cultures of Korean corporations cultivate creative thinking, trials for new and alternative ways, innovative and forward looking efforts, etc. Reward and recognition systems of the corporation value such efforts. In addition, positive assumptions, motivations, expectations toward evaluation among organizational members need to be enhanced.
