본 연구의 목적은 한국 소비재산업의 산업연관지표를 확인하고, 구조변화지수 및 기술변화지수의 추이 및 그 특징을 분석하는 것이다. 분석결과, 소비재산업의 총산출 및 부가가치의 경제내 비중은 1995년 이후 점차 감소하고 있고 중간투입률, 국산중간투입률은 2000년 이후 점차 낮아지고 있으며, 이로 인해 생산유발효과도 낮아지고 있다. 그리고 소비재 산업은 전방연관효과가 후방연관효과에 비해 크며, 전방연관효과의 경우 1998년 이후 크게 확대되었다. 구조변화지수 분석결과 총산출기준 구조변화지수는 1998~2000년이 가장 높은 시기였으며, 이후 지수가 크게 하락하였으며, 부가가치기준 구조변화지수는 1995~1998년 가장 높았으나 이후 지속적으로 하락하였으며 외환위기 이후 하락폭이 크게 확대되었다. 한편 소비재산업의 기술구조변화지수는 비교적 최근인 2005~2007년이 가장 높았다. 이는 소비재산업이 최근 중간수요율이 높아지면서 중간투입구조의 변화가 진행되고 있음을 의미한다.
Abstract
The objective of this study is to figure out the trends and properties of the structural change index and technical diffusion index in the Korean consumer goods manufacturing sectors by the input-output analysis. Major findings of this study are as follows; First, the ratio of total output and value-added in the consumer goods manufacturing sectors to the whole economy has been decreasing, and annual average growth rate of these factors has been rapidly decreasing since 1995. Second, each sub-sectoral intermediate goods input ratios in these sectors have been diminishing, thus production inducement coefficients have also been gradually declining. And backward linkage effects of these sectors have been decreasing while forward linkage effects have been less rising. Third,the value of structural change index on the base of total production ratios has the highest changes during the 1998~2000, and that on the base of value-added ratios has been highest changes during the 1998~2000. Forth, the values of technical diffusion index have the biggest changes during the 2005~2007.
