선거여론조사에서 가장 많이 활용되는 전화조사에서는 모집단 포함확률, 젊은층의 낮은 재택률과 응답자 선정의 어려움 등이 심각한 문제점으로 지적되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이에 대한 해결방안으로 성향점수보정을 통한 전화조사와 인터넷조사의 결합추정방법을 제안하였다. 전화와인터넷으로 수집한 2007 대통령선거 예측조사 데이터를 이용하여 결합조사의 적용가능성을 수치적으로 검증했다.
Abstract
The coverage of population, young people’s not staying at home and selecting the valid voters are indicated as the most serious problems of telephone survey which is mostly used in election poll. In this paper, we suggest the combined the Internet with Telephone survey estimation method through the propensity score adjustment for above mentioned problems. It is numerically verified the adjustment of combined survey with 2007 Korean Presidential election poll data which was collected by Internet and Telephone survey.
