최근 들어, 기후변화가 문화유산에 미치는 영향을 조사한 연구가 크게 증가하였다. 전 지구적 면에서뚜렷한 변화가 발생하였으며, 이러한 변화는 해양 및 해안 환경에 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 이러한 해양 및해안 환경에 위치한 문화유산에 미치는 영향에 대한 관심도 높아졌는데, 이는 자연적인 현상이었다. 따라서 기후변화가 해양 문화자원에 미치는 영향을 이해하고, 분석하고, 완화하는 데 목적을 둔 연구 및 방법론적 제안을 마련할 필요가 있다는 목소리가 높아졌다. 지리적으로 이러한 (문화)자원은 지역사회에가까이 위치할 때가 자주 있다. 기후변화가 지역사회의 영역과 사회문화적 관행에 영향을 미칠 경우, 기후변화로 인한 영향은 지역 사회의 (문화)유산에만 영향을 그치지 않고, 지역 사회의 정체성에도 영향을미칠 때가 자주 있었다. 콜롬비아 카리브해, 카르타헤나 데 인디아스에 위치한 티에라봄바 섬이 여기에해당한다. 최근 몇 년 동안 강하게 나타난 기후변화는 지역 거주민에게 영향을 준 것은 물론 해양문화유산에도 영향을 미쳤다. 이는 몇 가지 증거를 통해 입증된 사실이다. 이러한 맥락에서, 본서의 목적은 최근 몇 년간 섬에서 추진되어 온 공동 참여 분석에 필요한 방법론적 제안을 제시하는 데 있다. 특히, 본서에서는 기후변화가 카르타헤나 데 인디아스의 문화유산에 미치는 영향을 연구하고, 지역 주민들과의 공동 참여 평가 및 모니터링을 위한 제안을 개발하는 지역 연구인 "Blue Collaboratory"의 초기 단계에 대해 다루었다.
Abstract
In recent years, studies on the incidence of the effects of climate change on cultural heritage have increased considerably. Naturally, due to the evident transformations at the planetary level and the modifications that these are having on the maritime and coastal environments, particular attention has been paid to the cultural heritages located in these contexts. Thus, the need has arisen to generate research and methodological proposals aimed at establishing the necessary measures to understand, analyze and mitigate the impacts of climate change on the maritime cultural resources. Often, these are close to living local communities whose heritage and identity are affected due to the impact that climate change is having on the deterioration of their territories and socio-cultural practices. This is the case of Tierrabomba Island in the coastal city of Cartagena de Indias (Colombian Caribbean). There, there are several evidences that reflect how the intense climatic variations of recent years have affected both the populations that have historically inhabited the territory, as well as the maritime cultural heritages that constitute the island. In this order of ideas, the objective of this article is to present the methodological proposals for coparticipatory analysis that have been worked on in recent years on the island. Particularly, the initial phase of the study "Blue Collaboratory", local research interested in studying the effects of climate change on the Cultural Heritage of Cartagena de Indias, as well as in developing a proposal for co-participatory evaluation and monitoring with the local inhabitants.
