Abstract

The purpose of this study is to nurture a strong army by analyzing the differences between the military spirit that has been passed down in history and the present or foreign countries and suggesting development plans. We examine with comparison in this study the military spirit and training of human resources, the rules they must observe, and the underlying ideology at that time, and examine our history and the present military spirit, as well as that of the foreign military and ours. As a result, the military spirit in history has closely related to the spirit of patriotism, emphasizing loyalty in common, emphasizing the training of human resources and disciplines, and the ideology and religion of the time have influenced the military spirit. It is similar to the foreign military, but the difference is that the target of loyalty is not only to the monarch. The common emphasis was on dedication to the country in comparing the past and present military spirit, and the rest were the mindset and attitudes to realize it. Compared with the spirit of foreign soldiers, they emphasized patriotism in common and honor and courage as qualities of a soldier. To practice the military spirit of devotion to the country, it was required to take the lead of commanders and educate on best practices, discover best practices, use publicity materials, and give periodic feedback on tasks. For the direction of future research, it is necessary to verify the actual occurrence cases, generalize action plans through surveys, and analyze foreign military cases.
