김진흥은 약 60여 년 동안 부산 지역 춤 문화의 발전을 이끌었던 예술가로서 근대 부산지역 춤의 산 증인이라고 해도 무방할 정도로 부산예술계의 중추적인 인물이다. 이 연구는 김진홍류 지전춤에 대한 문헌자료를 토대로 하여본 연구자가 직접 학습하면서 체득한 객관적인 사실과 김진흥과의 면담을 자료로 활용하였다. 이 연구는 김진흥 지전춤의 형성과 예술적 양상을 규명하기 위해 다음과같이 논의되었다. 김진흥은 김석출의 사촌여동생 김계향에게서 지전춤을 처음으로 배워 전통적인 무속 춤사위에다 그 만의 경험과 철학, 예술성을 접목하여 무대화를 했다. 따라서 지전춤의 형성 과정과 춤을 구성하고 있는 음악과 복식, 춤사위를통해 춤의 예술적 양상을 살펴보고자 한다. 김진흥류 지전춤의 예술적 양상은상징성과 질박미, 무기교의 춤을 근저로 하고 있다. 상징성은 김진흥류 지전춤에 나타난 춤사위에 따라 지전의 쓰임이나 용도가 다양한 의미를 내포하고 있음을 말한다. 질박미는 인위적이지 않고, 자연적인 것으로써 김진흥의 실제의 생활 그 자체를 드러내고 있었다. 그리고 무기교의 춤은 김진흥의 춤 철학으로, 기교가 아닌 마음으로 춰야 좋은 춤이 추어진다는 뜻을 내포하고 있다. 이 춤은 김진흥 자신만의 독창적인 춤사위를 엿볼 수 있는 춤으로 여타의작품과 다르게 새로운 춤형식과 표현기법을 가지고 있다. 이 연구를 통해 김진흥의 예술세계와 영남춤의 실상을 알아볼 수 있었다.
Abstract
The Study of Artistic Characteristics on Kim Jin Hong Style, Ji Jeon Dance Park, Mi-Kyoung (Gyeong-Sang National University) This study aims to examine Kim Jinhong ’ s artistic value, which appears in his style of Jijeon Dance. In addition, it is to promote the transmission and development of local art by studying distinct regional dances. Characteristics that appear in the dance could be drawn through the study on Kim Jinhong and his style of Jijeon Dance. Results obtained from this study are as follows. By studying Kim Jinhong ’ s life based on literature and conversation with him, this study was able to understand what kind of influence he was under and the kind of artistic value that he had formed. Second, the historical background of the time when Kim Jinhong-style Jijeon Dance was made and the background behind the occurrence of the dance were investigated. Third, by studying the movements that appear in Kim Jinhong-style Jijeon Dance, the symbolic meaning and the role of jijeon were understood. Lastly, in Chapter 4, which is the essence of this study, the 3 characteristics in Kim Jinhong-style Jijeon Dance - symbolism, beauty of simplicity, nonpossession, philosophy of nonpossession - were obtained through previously mentioned study process. Symbolism, beauty of simplicity and the philosophy of artless in harmony, along with the diversity of dance, Kim Jinhong ’ s unique roughness and the dance brought from within combined with the simplicity of shaman dance appeared in the form of the dance with much higher artistic value. In conclusion, this dance, which was reconstituted according to the stage form by Kim Jinhong, is based on the dance of East Sea region and artistic value of Kim Jinhong, and shows more powerful characteristics of the dance through traditional techniques with his uniqueness combined in it.
