선거여론조사의 특징 분석: 22대 국회의원선거를 중심으로

초록

본 연구는 22대 국회의원선거 관련해서 중앙선거관리위원회 여론심의위원회에 등록되어 있는 선거여론조사에 대한 분석을 통해 선거여론조사의 특징을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 22대 국회의원선거 여론조사의 중요한 특징을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 먼저 전국에 대한 조사가가장 많이 이루어졌으며, 유권자 및 정치권의 관심이 높았던 지역구 조사가 많이 이루어졌다. 무선 ARS와 무선전화면접의 조사시간, 응답률(협조율), 실질 응답률을 비교해 보면 무선전화면접의 조사시간은 더 길며 응답률, 실질 응답률은 더 높다는 점을 발견할 수 있다. 22대 국회의원선거는 무선 ARS와 무선전화면접이 향후 방향성을 두고 대립한 선거였다고 말할 수 있다. 본연구는 그동안 많이 연구되지 않았던 선거여론조사의 특징을 분석하였다는 점에, 특히 22대 국회의원선거 여론조사를 전수조사함으로써 선거여론조사의 전반적 특징을 파악하였다는 점에 의미를 찾을 수 있었다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of election opinion polls by analyzing the election opinion polls registered with the National Election Survey Deliberation Commission of the National Election Commission in relation to the 22nd National Assembly election. The most important features of the polls for the 22nd National Assembly elections are as follows. Firstly, the most surveys were conducted nationwide, and many surveys were conducted in local districts that were of high interest to voters and political parties. When comparing the survey time, response rate(co-operation rate), and actual response rate of wireless ARS and wireless telephone interviews, it can be found that wireless telephone interviews have longer survey time, higher response rate, and higher actual response rate. It can be said that the 22nd National Assembly election was a contest between wireless ARS and wireless telephone interviews for the future direction. The significance of this study is that it analyzed the characteristics of election opinion polls, which have not been studied much, and in particular, it identified the overall characteristics of election opinion polls by conducting a full survey of the 22nd National Assembly election polls.
