Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the information needed to promote the social skills of students with disabilities with deficits in social skills through the search and review of research data conducted to promote the effectiveness of social skills interventions. A review of relevant literature has shown that over the past half-century, various social skills programs have been developed to teach students prosocial and interpersonal behavior. Social skills training has been shown to be effective in improving the social behavior of students with social skills deficiencies within a limited environment. However, for a long time, despite its theorizing, practice, discussion, and research, it has not been able to provide a model for discrimination, measurement, training, generalization, and maintenance for students with social skills deficits. Based on the results of the studies reviewed, it will be necessary to make efforts to generalize the trained social skills in various scenes and to keep the acquired skills well.
