This paper is significant in paying attention to Sinoxenic vocabularies between Korean and Japanese translation. Since Japanese and Korean are part of the sinosphere, there are many similar words. Even if you do not understand each other’s words, to some extent the other party will understand by using Chinese characters. On the other hand, loan words between two languages do not make sense or have completely different meaning. Up to now, many scholars have done research about language interference between Japanese and Korean in translations but there is still a tendency to translate like that. The reason why this kind of translation results come out is because translators are unconscious of these two languages are somewhat different, use the free online dictionary is poor in content, translations released by both countries’ medias translations change depending on who the readers are. In some cases the translation results fuel conflict due to history and in others, “false-friends” can be appeared. (Ewha Womans University, Korea)
