본 연구의 목적은 유아의 디지털 역량 평가도구의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하여 유아교육기관에서 활용할 수 있는 유아의 디지털 역량 평가도구를 개발하는 것이었다. 문헌연구를 기반으로 유아의 디지털역량 구성요소를 추출한 후 1차 시안문항을 개발하고, 전문가 타당도검증을 거쳐 2차 시안문항을 구성하였다. 예비검사를 통해 수정⋅보완하여 최종 시안을 개발한 후, 경기도에 위치한 유치원에 재원 중인유아 247명을 대상으로 유아교사가 관찰했던 내용에 기반하여 평정하는 방식으로 유아의 디지털 역량검사를 실시하였다. 자료분석 결과, 평가도구의 문항 양호도는 매우 높게 나타났고, 구인타당도 검증을위한 요인분석에서 전체 설명 변량의 78.93%를 설명하였으며, 부하량이 .50 이상인 요인과 문항을 추출하여 9가지 요인에 대해 총 30문항을 확정하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 평가도구의 신뢰도는Cronbach’s α계수가 .96으로 나타났다. 개발된 도구는 유아의 디지털 역량 수준을 측정하여 교육적 효과성을 검증하거나 적절한 교육프로그램을 개발하는 데 활용될 수 있겠다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop and validate an assessment tool for measuring young children’s digital competencies. Based on a comprehensive literature review, sub- elements of young children’s digital competencies were identified, and an initial draft of the assessment tool was developed. The second draft was refined through expert validation, followed by revisions and enhancements after a preliminary test. The finalized tool was then administered to 247 kindergarteners in Gyeonggi-do, with their digital competence assessed by their teachers. As a result of the data analysis, the assessment tool demonstrated high item validity. Factor analysis identified factors and items that accounted for 78.93% of the variance, supporting discriminant validity. A total of 30 items, representing nine sub-elements of young children’s digital competence, were extracted, each with a factor loading greater than .50. The reliability of the developed assessment tool was confirmed with a Cronbach’s αof .96. This tool can be used to assess young children’s digital competence, evaluate educational effectiveness, and inform the development of appropriate educational programs.
