위진 잡시의 성격과 문학사적 의미

<문선> 29권 시부에 있는 잡시 편목에는 29인의 작품 93수가 수록되어 있다. 이 중에는 잡시가 제목인 작품도 있고 그렇지 않은 시도 있다. 잡시 제목의 작품은 건안 왕찬의 작품이 최초이며 위진 시대에 활발하게 창작되다가 제량 이후에 점차 감소하였다. 그런데 잡시라는 개념은 다소 모호하기 때문에 작품의 성격을 파악하기 어렵다. 잡은 주로 중요하지 않거나 기타의, 나머지라는 느낌이 강하며 주로 아(雅)와 상대되는 개념으로 사용되었다. 본 논문은 <시품>에서 아와 속(俗)이 상대되는 개념이라는 점에 착안하여 <문선>의 잡시 역시 속의 의미를 상당부분 내포하고 있으며 ‘속이원(俗而怨)’이 잡시의 중요한 특징이라고 생각한다. 잡시는 오언시라는 새로운 창작방식이 등장하면서 생겨났다. 작품과 제목의 관계에 대한 위진 문인들의 인식이 담겨있는 문학현상이라 할 수 있다.
Abstract
The Za-Shi catalog of <WenXuan> contains 93 works of 29 authors. Among them, the titles of the works are Za-Shi, and others have different titles. The first work with the title of Za-Shi is the one by WangCan, and the works were created actively during Wei Jin era, and gradually decreased after QiLiang. The fad of the title Za-Shi is a special literary phenomenon during Wei Jin era. However, the concept of Za(雜) is rather ambiguous, so it is difficult to comprehend the characteristics of works. Za(雜) mostly refers to something trivial or extra, and it is used as the opposite concept of Ya(雅). This study contains Za for the meaning of Su(俗), and considers Su(俗) and Yuan(怨) as important features of Za-Shi. Za-Shi was created as verses with a new creation method of five words to each line appeared. It can be considered as a literary phenomenon that includes Wei Jin authors' recognition about the relation between works and titles.
