본 연구는 고령장애인의 취업형태에 대한 종단적 추이를 분석하고, 취업형태 영향요인을 파악하기 위하여 진행되었다. 분석자료는 2008년부터 2010년 까지 조사된 장애인고용패널조사 자료를 연결한 자료이며, 분석대상은 장애인 고용패널 조사에 참여한 5,092명 가운데 1차, 2차, 3차 조사에 모두 참여한 50세∼75세 고령장애인 2,522명을 분석대상으로 삼았다. 고령장애인의 취업형태 영향요인을 밝히기 위하여 패널로짓분석 및 패널다항로짓분석을 실시한 결과, 남자인 경우, 배우자가 있을 때, 연령이 낮을수록, 장애기간이 긴 경우, 신체외부장애에 비해 감각장애인인 경우 취업확률이 높았으며, 정신장애 및 내부장애는 취업에 확률이 낮았다. 또한 장애가 경증일수록, 주관적 건강상태가 양호할수록, 건강 일 지장 정도가 낮을수록 취업확률이 높았으며, 교육년수가 짧을수록, 자격증이 있을 때, 고용서비스 경험이 있을 때, 주관적 경제상태 상층에 속할 때, 자산수준이 높을 때, 부채수준이 높을 때, 근로외소득이 낮을 때 취업확률이 높았다. 이상의 결과에 기초하여 정책적 및 실천적 제언을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study identifies the factors influencing employment and employment type among disabled elderly. This study used the 2008, 2009, and 2010 data of the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled(PSED) to explore how independent variabels determine employment and employment type among disabled elderly households. The study examined the frequency of employment and employment type with 2,522 households and conducted the panel logit and panel multinomial logit model. The empirical results show that the employment rate is significantly related to gender, spouse, age, the longitivity of disability condition, the type of disability, the legal degree of disability, subjective health status, the level of education, the certificate of qualification, subjective economic position, non-eared income, assets, and debts. On the basis of the results, some suggestions on the policy and practice of the disability employment were presented. This study will contribute to the exploration of the strategies for improving the employment rate of elderly people with disability.
