국어과 수업 혁신에 따른 평가 혁신 고찰

2009년 9월 김상곤 경기도교육감의 당선과 함께 시작된 혁신학교는 13개에서 2016년 9월 현재 415개로 확대되었다. 송우중학교(이하 송우중)는 2012년 1학기 혁신학교 예비지정교가 되었고, 2학기부터 본지정교로 운영되었다. 교사들의 의견을 모아 추진 과제를 수업혁신으로 정하고 4년 동안 ‘배움의공동체’ 철학을 수업으로 실천하였다. 학생을 ‘배움’의 주체로 세우고, 학생들은 모둠친구들과 함께 과제를 해결했다. 시간이 지나면서 수업혁신은 평가혁신으로 이어졌다. 처음에는 수업과 평가를 바꾸기가 어려웠지만 교사들은 교과협의회에서 함께 고민했다. 나아가 ‘교육과정-수업-평가’의 연계를 위해 노력하였다. 그 결과 수업혁신, 평가혁신을 실천할 수 있었다.
Abstract
Innovative school was started with Gim Sang-gon’s election as a superintendent for schools in Gyeonggi Province, and expanded its number from 13 to 415. In the first semester 2012, Songwoo middle school was assigned as a spare-designated school for the Innovative school, and since the second semester of that year, it has been operated as a designated school. For 4 years, we practiced a learning-based instruction, based on the principle of ‘Learning Community’ We designed the class with the students being the subject of ‘learning’, sharing their ideas in groups and solving the tasks together. Although it was hard for a teacher to revise the assessment and the class, teachers tried to find the answers together through the conference. They tried hard to make three parts, ‘course of education, class, and assessment’ connect with one another. As a result, we could put classroom innovation and assessment innovation into action.
