초록
This study examines the relationships between self-presentation, recreation specialization, and subjective well-being among cyclists, using Self-Determination Theory (SDT) as a theoretical framework. Quantitative data were collected from 395 cyclists. The findings reveal that self-presentation positively influences recreation specialization, which in turn enhances subjective well-being. Moreover, the study identifies the quality of life as a moderating factor between self-presentation and recreation specialization. These results highlight the role of self-presentation in motivating individuals to specialize in recreational activities, ultimately improving their well-being. This research contributes to understanding how psychological needs and identity influence recreational behavior and well-being within the cycling community.
