이 연구논문은 대학생들의 음주 습관에 관한 선행 연구를 기초해서 재구성한 설문조사 방법을 통해 여자 대학생들 204명의 음주 동기, 많이 마시는 술, 음주 절제 노력, 술버릇과 같은 음주 습관 그리고 알코올 사용 장애 식별 검사(AUDIT-K)를 통해 여자 대학생들의 음주 빈도, 음주량, 폭음 정도 등의 음주 수준을 조사하였다. 이를 같은 연령대의 남자대학생 87명을 비교군으로 조사하여 비교하였다. 알코올 사용 장애 식별 검사를 통해 조사된 여대생들의 문제 음주와 알코올 의존 분류 비율은 남학생들과 차이가 없는 수준으로 음주에 관한 여성의 취약성을 고려할 때 여대생들의 문제 음주는 심각한 수준으로 나타났다. 여대생들의 최초 음주 시기가 남학생들과 비교해 상대적으로 대학생 시기에 시작하는 비율이 높다는 점에서 대학 생활의 시작 시기 여대생들의 음주 예방 교육의 필요성과 그 효과가 클 것임을 주장하였다. 기독교 상담의 시각에서 이 연구논문은 기독교 전통이 갖는 술취함에 대한 비판적 경고와 절제의 태도 권면, 마음의 제어와 다스림을 위한 실천, 사교와 친목을 위한 건전한 대안 활동을 통한 지혜로운 삶의 실천을 대학생들의 음주 예방 교육 개발을 위한 내용으로 제안한다.
Abstract
Through a survey method reconstructed based on prior research on the drinking habits of college students, this research paper investigated the drinking habits of 204 female college students such as drinking motives, favorite type of alcohol, efforts to abstain from drinking, drinking habits and the drinking levels of those such as frequency, drinking amount of alcohol, and degree of binge drinking. 87 male college students of the same age were surveyed and compared as a control group. The problem drinking and alcohol dependence classification rates of female college students surveyed through the alcohol use disorder identification test were not different from those of male students, and considering the vulnerability of women to drinking, the problem drinking of female college studentswas at a serious level. Given that the rate of female college students starting their first drinking period is relatively higher than that of male collegestudents, it was argued that there is a need for and effect of alcohol prevention education for female college students at the beginning of their college life. From the perspective of Christian counseling, this research paper proposes the development of drinking prevention education for college students through critical warnings about the intoxication of Christian tradition and the practice of self-control, practice for the discipline of the mind, and sound alternative activities for socializing of Christian tradition.
