환경문제와 치유의 행복 - 생태 철학적 접근을 통하여 -

오늘날 고도 산업화에 따른 물질적 풍요와 편리함의 뒤편에는 환경문제의 후유증이 심각하다. 이와 함께 본고는 생태위기로 인한 모든 생명체의 가치를 재확인하고 피조물의 복지 파괴를 성찰한다. 특히 환경문제의 고통으로부터 억압된 인간 삶의 치유행복을 통찰한다. 이는 동서양의 철학사상에서 생태 철학적 접근을 통해 치유행복을 위한 대안으로 생태적 실천철학으로서 작업화 할 수 있는 세 가지 사례를 주목하였다. 첫째, 노·장자 철학에서 생명가치의 토대가 되는 무위자연의 사상, 즉 ‘빔(虛) 철학’의 사유를 통해 유위로 채워진 회색도시로부터 녹지라는 무위(빔)가 도시의 생명과 행복을 지탱하는 최고의 기능임을 강조했다. 둘째, 유·불교 철학으로부터 유기체사상과 만물을 범애하는 도덕적 정감으로 생태보전과 녹색소비에 주목하면서 독일, 프라이부르크(Freiburg) 도시의 ‘보봉(Vauban) 생태공동체’를 통해 인간과 자연의 유기적 지속성이라는 인식하에 도시민의 치유행복의 의미를 고찰했다. 마지막으로 기독교의 창조사상을 통한 ‘토지안식년’이 주는 치유행복의 의미를 살펴보았다. 이상의 세 사례를 통해서 생태철학의 관점에서 자연과 인간행복이 어떻게 연관성을 맺고 있는지 확인할 수 있었다. 본고를 통해서 현재와 미래세대의 모든 구성원은 물질적 안락과 지속적 행복추구를 위해 인간행위와 자연적 실체가 조화를 이룰 수 있는 새로운 법칙과 질서를 고안해야 할 과제를 던져주고 있다.
Abstract
Today the aftereffect of environmental problems is very serious behind material prosperity and conveniences according to high industrialization. So this study reaffirm the value of all living creatures from ecological crisis and reflect their welfare destruction. In particular this paper give insight to healing happiness of human life that pressured from suffering of various kinds of environmental problems. This noticed three-cases to realize practical philosophy as alternative for healing happiness through ecological philosophy approach from philosophical thought of the East and the West. Besides examined 'Environmental Right' related to right to pursue happiness. First, ‘Idleness Naturalism' based on life value from Lao-tzu·Chuang-tzu’s philosophy, in other words this thought emphasize that ‘Greens’(artificially unoccupied empty) is the supreme function to sustain urban life and human happiness through their ‘empty philosophy’. the Second, noticing ecological preservation and green consumption from organism and universal love of all creature of the philosophy of Confucianism and Buddhism, in a case ‘Eco-Community(Vauban Eco-Housing Complex)’ in Freiburg city, in Germany examined the meaning of urban residents' healing happiness under the recognition of organic sustain ability between human and nature. Finally investigated the meaning of healing happiness of ‘Soil Sabbath’ through creation thought of Christian. Above three cases show surely how between nature and human happiness is linked to the viewpoint of ecological philosophy. Through this paper, all members of current and future generations should have an important subject to devise new rules and orders that make the harmony of human action and natural substance to material comfort and continuing happiness.
