집단따돌림 피해 청소년이 인식하는 가족갈등 과정에서의 피해 경험 및 가족치료 개입에 관한 질적 사례 연구

초록

본 연구는 집단따돌림 피해를 겪어 온 청소년이 가족갈등 과정에서 인식해온 가족 경험을 살펴보고 집단따돌림 문제 및 가족갈등 해결을 위한 효과적인 가족치료 개입전략을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구자는 집단따돌림을 당한 청소년기 자녀에 대한 가족 상담 축어록을 중심으로 의미 단위를 구분하여 연구결과를 도출하였다. 분석한 결과, 집단따돌림 피해 청소년 자녀는 가족갈등 과정에서 ‘자책감과 무기력’, ‘희생양’, ‘복수심과 공격성의 내면화’, ‘정서적 의존 욕구 상실’, ‘맏이로서의 권위 상실’과 같은 피해를 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따른 청소년기 자녀의 집단따돌림 문제 해결을 위해 ‘편들어주며 안전기지 되어주기’, ‘치료적 삼각관계 맺기를 통한 안전기지 되어주기’, ‘억압된 정서를 표출하도록 안전기지 되어주기’ 등의 치료 전략이 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 집단따돌림 피해 청소년이 인식하는 주관적인 가족 경험을바탕으로 한 가족치료의 구조와 개입 방법을 제시하였다는데 의미가 있다.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the experiences of an adolescent who had suffered from peer victimization in the context of family conflict, and to explore the effective family therapy intervention strategies for resolving family conflict and peer victimization issues. To achieve the purpose of this study, the researchers analyzed transcripts of family counseling sessions focused on an adolescent who have experienced peer victimization. The researchers identified the five categories of meaning from research findings. The results revealed that adolescents who experienced peer victimization during childhood, perceived various forms of harm in the process of family conflict, such as ‘self-blame and helplessness’, ‘being a scapegoat’, ‘internalization of revenge and aggression’, ‘loss of emotional dependence’, and ‘loss of the eldest child’s authority’. Effective therapeutic strategies for resolving peer victimization issues in adolescent child included ‘taking side and providing a secure base’, ‘providing a secure base through a therapeutic triangulation’, and ‘providing a secure base to express oppressed feelings’. It is meaningful that this study suggested a structured approach and intervention methods for family therapy based on the subjective family experiences recognized by an adolescent experiencing peer victimization.
