This study analyzed the cultural code in Thai popular culture contents focusing on Thai dramas. It explored the natural, ideological, and institutional factors that contribute to the formation of Thai cultural codes, which shape the emotional characteristics of Thais. This study also examined a cultural code in Thai Drama based on Thai national values. King-Buddhism-Nation are important elements that define nationality and identity of Thais. The cultural codes of Thailand are deeply ingrained in the minds of Thai people and can be observed across various contexts in Thai dramas. Thai dramas often incorporate supernatural and occult elements, regardless of genre. The monarchy and Buddhism are pillars of Thai culture, and these dominant narratives are actively reproduced through drama content as well. Moreover, the evolving demand for diverse content has led to changes in Thailand's cultural codes, as seen in the emergence of genres like BL (Boys' Love), Thai school content, and remake dramas. This study aims to enhance understanding of Thai social culture and provide suggestions for entering the cultural industry in Thailand.
