This study analyzed the narrative features of Thai BL Drama <I told sunset about you>. The analysis revealed that this drama produces gender neutral narratives and breaking gender norms. The story tells Friendship between Teh and Ohew turned into love and they are frustrated, conflicted, and troubled, but eventually they accept each other. With this storyline, there are some symbols to support main narratives. The main narrative represented gender neutrality through symbolic devices such as Phuket (diversity), Saengtham Shrine (tradition and order), sea/beach (nature), hibiscus (gender neutrality), and coconut (purity) by breaking norms and creating new values. Finally, they can show who they truly are. And at the same time, they conform to the social norm by reinforcing another social order. These narratives produce meaningful discourse in our society for the resolutions of gender conflicts.
