본 연구는 사회불안과 군 생활 적응 간의 관계에서 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 매개효과와 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제의 조절된 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 부산, 경상권의 육군 병사 289명을 대상으로 사회불안, 군 생활 적응, 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략, 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제를 측정하였으며, SPSS 29.0과 PROCESS MACRO를 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 병사의 사회불안은 군 생활 적응에 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 사회불안과 군 생활 적응 간의 관계에서 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략은 부분매개하였다. 셋째, 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제는 사회불안과 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략 간 관계를 유의하게 조절하였다. 넷째, 사회불안과 군 생활 적응의 관계에서 지각된 부모의 심리적 통제로 조절된 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 매개효과가 유의했다. 본 연구는 병사의 군 생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고, 군 부적응의 예방과 개선을 돕기 위한 개입 방안을 마련하는 데 근거자료를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study examined how maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies mediate the association between soldiers’social anxiety and their adjustment to military life, and whether this mediating process is moderated by perceived parental psychological control A total of 289 army soldiers stationed in Busan and the Gyeongsang region completed measures of social anxiety, military life adjustment, maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies, and perceived parental psychological control. Data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and PROCESS MACRO. The results were as follows. First, soldiers’social anxiety had a negative effect on military life adjustment. Second, maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies partially mediated the relationship between social anxiety and military life adjustment. Third, perceived parental psychological control significantly moderated the relationship between social anxiety and maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Fourth, the indirect effect of social anxiety on military life adjustment through maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies varied significantly depending on levels of percevied parental psychological control, indicating a significant moderated mediation effect. This study provides empirical evidence on the factors influencing military life adjustment among soldiers and offers practical implications for interventions to prevent and improve military maladjustment.
